What we do

AkeBoose is a development-driven engineering company. We specialize in machine components and systems that apply liquid to a substrate. Our focus is traditionally on the flexographic and rotogravure printing and packaging industry, for which we develop and build application and supply systems for printing inks and coatings. The AkeBoose product range covers chamber doctor blade systems, ink supply and ink handling systems, as well as rotogravure blade holders with matching doctor blades.

In recent years, we have also increasingly developed special solutions for processing or applying liquid media such as hydrogen peroxide, sodium hydroxide or graphite compound, for example.

Our experience

Since the company was founded by visionary Mr. Åke Bööse in the 1970s, we have integrated process technology solutions across a wide range of printing applications. This broad, multidisciplinary know-how of printing processes for flexible packaging, labels, corrugated, tissue, decor, laminations and coatings enable us to develop highly functional product solutions that make daily operations and processes in the pressroom easier and more efficient.

What we are aiming for

Our aim is to contribute to the long-term success of our customers by taking into account the individual needs of each customer and by continuously developing all aspects of our company and products.

Our heavily export-driven business is operated by a highly skilled and agile multinational team dedicated to serving our customers.
