Cleaning is an inevitable and important aspect of printing operations. Only if the printing equipment is kept properly clean, it will live up to its full functional capabilities. For example, ink chambers have to be cleaned when a color change is pending, the cells of anilox rollers have to be cleaned regularly, so that they can transfer the right ink volume. However, time spent on cleaning can be at the expense of productivity, because it often involves machine downtime. This is especially valid for manual cleaning procedures.

AkeBoose has a broad knowledge of the different machine components and parts involved in printing and associated processes across all types of printing methods, be it flexo, offset, gravure, coating, or laminating applications. Having both R&D and production in-house, we are in the position to develop application-specific cleaning equipment to create fast and efficient automatic cleaning processes that allow the customer to reduce machine downtime and to maximize press productivity.
